this time around we are reading moneyball. i am a few chapters into it already and it's pretty good so far. a very interesting story of the owner of the a's and how he discovered a "new" way at recruiting baseball players based on their history and their statistics. i have two weeks to read it and it shouldn't be a problem because it's a pretty interesting book.
i took the train into work today from sacramento and i just love the train. i think this love started to develop when i was living in italy, it is such a wonderful way to travel and see the countryside. i was able to read, have my coffee and listen to melow monday morning music on my longer than normal commute into berkeley. it was well worth the early rise.
